TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Police on Thursday, June 30, identified a man killed in a two-vehicle crash in Tucson’s midtown.

53-year-old Aaron H. Lee was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash Wednesday, June 29, at the intersection of East Pima Street and North Beverly Avenue.

According to investigators, Lee had stopped his 2003 Mercury Sable at a stop sign on southbound Beverly before proceeding in front of a westbound 2008 Toyota Tacoma, which then struck Lee’s Mercury.

Police say the driver of the Tacoma was not impaired at the time of the collision, and Lee’s failure to yield from a stop sign is the major contributing factor of the crash.

The investigation is ongoing. No citations or charges have been issued.
