Andres Rendon joined KOLD 13 News as a multimedia journalist in April 2023.
A native Long Islander, Andres is brand new to the Tucson area but has been enjoying his time getting to know the area and discover local food favorites.
Andres graduated with his bachelor’s degree Ithaca College in December 2022, with a double major in journalism and politics. He enjoys understanding different policies like housing laws and how it can affect people’s lives.
In college, Andres held positions as anchor and producer for the school’s winning weekly newscast, “ICTV Newswatch.” Andres also interned for New York Cannabis Insider through the Dow Jones News Fund, where he quickly grew an interest in NY cannabis policy. Now living in southern Arizona, he plans on analyzing and covering AZ’s marijuana market as well.
