Jared Dillingham
Anchor
Arizona's Family

Jared anchors the evening newscasts on 3TV and CBS5 after working every possible shift at Arizona’s Family over the last 15 years.
In addition to covering major stories in Arizona over the years, Jared has filed reports for Arizona’s Family from Mexico, Vietnam, the DMZ, and Washington, DC.
After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Jared spent time in Poland profiling war refugees and the Arizonans who traveled halfway around the world to help them.
Jared won a series of Emmy Awards for stories on vulnerable children in Arizona. They focused on children in immigration court, the struggles faced by LGBTQ youth, and a unique music program for special education students.
In addition to his evening anchor duties, Jared hosts the "Now Boarding" travel segment on "Good Morning Arizona" each Sunday and runs a travel blog (www.jaredsdetours.com) full of advice on making quick, efficient trips to destinations around the world.
Jared grew up in New York and graduated from Syracuse University with degrees in broadcast journalism and political science. He spent time working in Great Falls, Montana, and Spokane, Washington, before moving to Phoenix.
The Valley has truly become "home" for Jared. He spends his mornings walking his dogs, Myrtle and Bart while listening to as many news podcasts as possible. He can be found hiking Piestewa Peak or Camelback Mountain year-round and loves escaping to hike the other desert trails around Arizona.
