TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - Tucson Police Department are asking for the public's help to find a car that took off after hitting a bicyclist.
The hit-and run crash happened at around 6:30pm Friday near Swan and Camp Lowell.
23-year-old Samuel Abate was hit as he was headed North on Swan.
He's in serious condition but is doing better at the hospital.
His family says he opened his left eye and squeezed his mom's hand Monday morning.
Police are now looking for a Black Nissan Altima.
Detectives say the car has extensive windshield damage, as well as possible damage to the front bumper and hood.
The driver investigators are looking for is a white woman in her teens or 20's, with reddish hair.
Her vehicle was last seen on River and Craycroft.
Anyone with information is urged to call 9-1-1 or 88-crime.
