MESA, AZ (KOLD) - Authorities say two people survived a helicopter crash in east Mesa Tuesday morning. According to the Mesa Fire Department, the crash happened around 6:40 a.m. in open land near the Beeline Highway north of Falcon Field.

Authorities tell CBS affiliate, KPHO in Phoenix, the chopper was part of a three-aircraft test flight for Boeing. Two support aircraft were chasing an Apache Longbow on test flight when one of the support aircraft went down.
