TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - Former NFL star Andre Rison has been indicted in Arizona for failure to pay child support.

The federal indict accuses Rison, who was a wide receiver with the Atlanta Falcons and dated Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of the musical group TLC, of failing to pay more than $10,000 in support. The money was due two years ago, but Rison has not paid it, officials said.

A federal court has jurisdiction because Rison now lives in Mount Morris, Mich. The child lived in Arizona at the time the payments were due. He has been summoned to appear in a Phoenix federal court on Sept. 14.

If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of two years in federal prison, a $250,000 fine or both.

Rison played in the NFL for 13 years with five Pro Bowl appearances and one Super Bowl ring with the Green Bay Packers.
