TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A 17-year old teenager was assisted off a hiking trail at Catalina State Park Sunday afternoon after getting injured.

Golden Ranch Fire Department officials say the teen twisted her ankle while hiking with family and friends.

Search and rescue crews hiked up the mountain and used a basket to carry her back down. Firefighters say minor injuries can become dangerous if not prepared.
