TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - One out of every 131 people in Pima County experienced homelessness within the past year.
The Annual Report of Homelessness in Arizona shows approximately 27 percent of the state's homeless population lives in Pima County. Compare that to 35 percent in 2012.
It includes charts of the demographics that compose the nearly 7,600 homeless people in the county, which is equivalent to about half of the McKale Center at the University of Arizona.
It also has Gov. Jan Brewer's State Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness.
