TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Eleven people have been displaced after a fire involving multiple mobile homes at the 4100 block of N Palm Grove, which caused an estimated $60,000 in damages.

Northwest Fire Investigators have determined the fire was accidental. A mechanic was working to fix the carburetor in an RV. When he went to start the car, a mechanical error ignited the fire.

The fire spread to the mobile home of the man who owned the RV, and both the RV and the home were completely destroyed. No one currently lived in this home.

However, the fire also damaged two mobile homes nearby, which housed two families totaling 11 people, all of whom have been displaced.

Fire crews extinguished the flames and there were no reported injuries. Northwest Fire and Red Cross are working together to assist the displaced families with shelter and help to repair their homes.
