TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Detectives arrested a Tucson woman accused of having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy.
Investigators said Christine Mazzarella, 47, a special education teacher at Lineweaver Elementary School, allegedly had sexual contact with the boy multiple times in July 2013.
Police booked Mazzarella into the Pima County Jail on four counts of sexual conduct with a minor.

The employee has been assigned to home and will not return to the school. The alleged conduct that has been reported by Tucson Police is grounds for dismissal from the district."
Sgt. Chris Widmer with the Tucson Police Department said there was no evidence to suggest she was involved in any sexual misconduct at the school.
A parent who has three kids at the school said, "That's not right for someone like that to be working at a school. What other kinds of things could they do?"
Bail has been set at $10,000 and Mazzarella is scheduled to appear in court again on Feb. 24 at 1:30 p.m.
