Former Border Patrol agents are blasting the Obama administration and members of Congress for the influx of Central American children coming to the U.S. illegally.
In a press release dated June 10, 2014, the National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers, Inc. (NAFBPO) says, "America is undergoing the most intensive campaign of political deception ever launched against Americans by her political leaders."
NAFBO is comprised of former officers of the United States Border Patrol and the Immigration and Naturalization Service. In the press release, NAFBO Chairman Zack Taylor writes, "the non enforcement of America's Immigration Laws has lead America to the next step in becoming a failed state in that we are arguably a lawless nation by not enforcing the Immigration Laws or upholding the Constitution."
Taylor specifically addresses the latest influx of illegal immigrant children from Central America flooding into the United States, "this is not a humanitarian crisis. It is a predictable, orchestrated and contrived assault on the compassionate side of Americans by her political leaders that knowingly puts minor Illegal Alien children at risk for purely political purposes." You can read the full letter at the bottom of this story.
President Barack Obama is calling the surge a crisis and appointed the Federal Emergency Management Agency to lead a response as Congress takes action. A senate appropriations panel has approved two billion dollars to handle the influx. Since the start of the 2014 budget year in October more than 48-thousand illegal immigrant children have been caught traveling alone and illegally crossing the U.S. border. In Arizona alone, 18,493 Guatemalans have been deported so far during 2014, representing a 24 percent increase over the same period in 2013.
On Tuesday, a United Nations official said the increased number of children are trying to escape gang recruitment in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras AND to seek asylum in the United States. Others say they're heading north after hearing rumors that the U.S. is offering new immigration status. At least 1,000 of them are being housed at a facility in Nogales, Arizona and Customs and Border Protection agents from the Tucson sector are being reassigned to help there.
Donations, like clothing, have been pouring in from the community for those kids but there are conflicting reports on whether or not the children are getting them. One civil rights leader who visited the facility says the priority at this point should be to get the kids out of there as soon as possible.
The situation only gets worse for immigration officials. A lawsuit has now been filed by the ACLU and other groups claiming abuse against the children at the hands of U.S. agents. The allegations involve incidents ranging from sexual violence to inhumane conditions. CBP has not commented on the suit as of Wednesday evening.
On Wednesday, U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Jay Johnson got an earful about the situation unfolding in Nogales with U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions grilling him about the number of immigrant children illegally crossing the border, "your leadership and the president's leadership has failed to send a clear message throughout the world that you can only come to the United States lawfully you cannot come unlawfully. In fact you've sent a message that conveys just the opposite."
U.S. law prohibits the Department of Homeland Security from immediately deporting the children if they are not from Canada or Mexico. Instead, officials say the children are turned over to the Department of Health and Human Services supervision within 72 hours.
That time period is supposed to be used to try and determine the personal circumstances of each child being held; to see if they have parents or other family members already living in the U.S. But with the dramatic increase in recent weeks authorities are overwhelmed leading to delays. Secretary Johnson said federal authorities are pooling resources to process the children as quickly and safely as possible.
There appears to be no end in sight. The Obama administration estimates that 60,000 children under 18 will enter the U.S. illegally alone this year. It's expected to grow to nearly 130,000 next year.

America is undergoing the most intensive campaign of Political Deception ever launched against Americans by her political leaders. The Administration, the members of the U.S. Senate that voted for S-744, and every other member of Congress that supports a path to citizenship, regularization or any other form of amnesty for illegal aliens before providing for full protections for National Security (jobs & economy) and Public Safety (the right of the people to be secure in their property and person) are fully responsible for the wave of illegal aliens flooding into the United States today.
There is a solution to this and it requires defining the root source of the problem. Any elected member of the Executive or Legislative Branch of the U.S. Government that has not stood up and demanded that current Immigration Law be enforced vigorously since 1986 is fully and exclusively responsible for this latest invasion. This is not a humanitarian crisis. It is a predictable, orchestrated and contrived assault on the compassionate side of Americans by her political leaders that knowingly puts minor Illegal Alien children at risk for purely political purposes.
Certainly, we are not gullible enough to believe that thousands of unaccompanied minor Central American children came to America without the encouragement, aid and assistance of the United States Government. Anyone that has taken two six to seven year old children to an amusement park can only imagine the problems associated with bringing thousands of unaccompanied children that age up through Mexico and into the United States. I doubt even the Cartels would undertake that chore at any price. No, it has to be heartless corrupt politicians and their minions lusting for more money and power.
The non enforcement of America's Immigration Laws has lead America to the next step in becoming a failed state in that we are arguably a lawless nation by not enforcing the Immigration Laws or upholding the Constitution. Yes, our leaders are guilty. However, we are responsible because it is the American voter that has placed untrustworthy people in positions of power and kept them there when they have clearly demonstrated that they have violated that public trust. These successful con artists are well dressed, attractive and charming. Putting untrustworthy officials in charge of America is how Americans are robbed in the 21st century, with the aid of the IRS, DOJ, BLM, DHS, EPA, HHS, etc., of their money and their God given rights.
Will this heartless criminal exploitation of Central American infants and children finally awaken Americans to the ruse being foisted upon them by their government, the media and other interested parties, or has America lost her ability to stand up against the tyrants and do what is right rather than what is easy? Obviously, this administration thinks you are as corrupt as they are and will vote them back into office or these young children would not be streaming into America to tug at your hearts and empty your heads of reason.
We at NAFBPO are mightily encouraged to see that Texas has once again stood up against tyranny and shone the brilliant light of freedom across the land by setting an example for freedom loving Americans to follow: http://bigjollypolitics.com/2014/06/09/compromising-positions-texas-gop-tea-parties-find-fortunes-reversed-ft-worth/.
We further believe that the only way to overcome the criminal element leading this nation today is for the people to rise up and report in mass to the ballot box with fire in their hearts for the rule of law, our Constitution and the voice of freedom on their lips and remove these criminals and replace them with true patriots who will protect America first.
