Woman stung by bees in the Foothills off River Road

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Woman refuses treatment for bee stings after attack, according to a Rural/Metro release.

Earlier this afternoon Rural/Metro crews from Station 73 responded to a call about a bee attack in the 5700 block of east River Road. According to crews when they arrived on scene the bees began to swarm and attack, they used foam to subdue the swarm in order to get to the patient.

When crews got to the woman she refused medical attention, and it is not known at this time how many times she was stung.  According to Rural/Metro crews are still on the scene accessing the woman's service dog.
