TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Celebrating 41 years in the Old Pueblo, Tucson Meet Yourself is looking for volunteers to help with this year's event. The festival will be held Oct. 10 - 12. There are plenty of opportunities for volunteers to get a 'behind-the-scenes' experience.
Volunteers may receive the following benefits: a vintage Tucson Meet Yourself T-shirt; the opportunity to meet diverse and interesting people, including artists; the chance to develop leadership skills; educate community on sustainability and positive environmental practices.
"Volunteers are the lifeline of our work and our success is a result of the time and effort they graciously provide," said Hilary Walker, director of volunteer operations, in a recent release. "There are many opportunities available for the 2014 Festival, plus the training is a lot of fun."
For those who would like to volunteer go online to
