TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Tucson Fire crews responded to calls about a building fire in the 200 block of N. 4th Avenue, shortly after midnight on Tuesday morning. According to a TFD release crews arrived on scene to find the apparently abandoned building more than 50 percent in flames.
Firefighters were able to put out the majority of the fire via the outside of the building, according to the release; a quick search of the building was conducted to look for potential hot spots.
No injuries were reported, though firefighters did say a hole in the roof could have been made when an air conditioning unit may have fallen through.
The cause and origin of the fire is still under investigation.
