TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - This is the time of year to celebrate with friends and family, and also the time when law enforcement is reminding the public not to drink and drive.
Southern Arizona's DUI Task Force will also be on the lookout for impaired drivers. It is the holiday season and the task force will be out in full force.
The special holiday task force began during the Thanksgiving weekend and runs through the start of the new year. During Thanksgiving weekend this year, over 370 arrests were made for driving under the influence; in 2013 that number was 420.
Task Force officials are posting the results of past DUI enforcement, in order to help remind residents that if they are going to drink have a designated driver or call a taxi.
At 10 a.m. today, the Southern Arizona DUI Task Force is holding a press conference.
