TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - If you or someone you know has the flu, you might have trouble getting the drug Tamiflu.
The Centers for Disease Control report a nationwide shortage of the anti-viral medication; this affects doses for children and adults.
Doctors are now advised to only prescribe the drug for the sickest and highest risk patients that is because it is still early in the flu season.
Here in Arizona, at least 389 people have come down with the flu this season, including more than 100 in Pima County.
One child has already died from the flu.
