TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Two people were injured in a crash involving a car and a tractor-trailer Tuesday morning that caused a traffic backup on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 at West Tangerine Road.

According to the Northwest Fire District, three people were involved. One suffered serious injuries, another had minor injuries and the third was not hurt.

Eastbound traffic was forced to use the shoulder and the frontage road to get around the accident.
