TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The driver of a cement truck is in the hospital this morning after a crash on the southwest side. It happened on West Ajo Hwy and South Camino Verde at 6:15 a.m. on Monday.

Pima County Sheriffs deputies on scene say one of the trucks wheels popped when it made a turn, causing the driver to lose control. The cement truck rolled into a ditch. It took tow trucks almost three hours to get the truck out.

According to officials, the driver has minor injuries and was taken to the hospital nearby.

Pima County Sheriff's deputies are investigating.
