COCHISE COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The family of a woman who went missing in the Chiricahua Mountains is offering a reward for any tips leading to her safe return. Relatives of 44-year-old Janet Castrejon have set up an online fundraiser to collect money for a reward.
Castrejon was hiking with family at Rustler Park on June 19 when she vanished. Her family believes she may have been abducted. The Cochise County Sheriff's Office says it is expanding its search area.
Castrejon was visiting from New Mexico. As a teen she suffered a traumatic brain injury causing her to have the mental capacity of a 5-year-old child. She was last seen wearing jeans and a white shirt with black lettering.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call 911. Donations for a reward can be made
