TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Hackers caused Tucson drivers to do a double-take on the east side.
Someone hacked a digital road sign on Pantano Road near 22nd Street to read "Zombies ahead," and "nuclear fall-out truck spill, turn around now."
Several viewers contacted Tucson News Now regarding the signs.
According to Mike Graham of the City of Tucson, Trafficade, the contractor who owns the signs, was alerted to the signs early Thursday morning. The signs were originally hacked on Wednesday night.
The wording has since been removed and no zombies were found.
So far, there's no word on who the prankster might be.
