Drive to recall three TUSD board members

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Three members of the Tucson Unified School District governing board may face a recall election.

A group called Parents for Ethics in TUSD started the campaign this week against Adelita Grijalva, Cam Juarez and Kristel Foster.

The group claims the board members aren't responding to staff and parents' concerns and mismanaging money.

The group has until November 19 to collect about 15,000 signatures to force a recall vote.

The man behind the drive to recall the board members worked for TUSD for more than 20 years and was recently fired. He launched an online petition to try to get his job back that said he will soon be homeless. Read his petition here:
