Body found in Santa Cruz wash

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A body was recovered from the Santa Cruz wash Friday morning, authorities said.
Santa Cruz County Sheriff Tony Estrada said the body is male and has not been identified.
"(The) body was found in Santa Cruz River around Rio Rico," Estrada said. "Rancher this morning saw vultures swarming. Body was decomposed had been there at least a few days in the heat."
The cause of death is unknown but Estrada said it is likely a drowning.
