UPDATE: Oro Valley robbery suspects identified

ORO VALLEY, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Tucson News Now received several calls on Wednesday night about a large police presence on the northwest side.

It began with the Oro Valley Police Department receiving a call about an attempted robbery at a hotel near North Oracle and Ina roads. According to OVPD, officers began searching for a Jeep Wrangler with five suspects in it.

Pima County Sheriff's Department deputies came across the Jeep near Tohono Chul Park. That is where officials told Tucson News Now the suspects ditched the vehicle and ran off into the park.

It took several hours to locate the suspects, four were found quickly but there was an extensive search for the fifth suspect.

The Oro Valley Police Department said while the investigation is ongoing it appears the suspects knew the victim.

The four people arrested were: Jose Juan Gil-Silva, 25, German Gil-Enriquez, 18, David Velasco, 24, and Alfredo Munoz, 23. All four are facing armed robbery and aggravated assault charges.
