TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A wanted woman has been arrested and faces murder charges after a body was found in the trunk of a burning vehicle in August.
Deanna Huber, 29, was arrested and booked into the Maricopa County Jail on one count of first degree murder, according to a news release from the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
She is waiting to be extradited to Pima County.
The body of 57-year-old Curtis Oliver was found in the trunk of a burning vehicle near West Avra Valley and North Waterman Mountain roads in Marana late last month.
Following an investigation, homicide detectives issued arrest warrants for Douglas Auckerman, 43, and Huber.
On Sept. 4, the Phoenix Police Department arrested Auckerman, but Huber still remained at large.
She was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service in Glendale on Sept. 12.
The investigation continues.
