TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Deputies are looking for two suspects after they allegedly assaulted a loss prevention officer at a Super Walmart, then ran away with stolen items.

Foothills deputies responded to the store, located at 7653 N. La Cholla Blvd., on Tuesday at approximately 3:30 a.m. in reference to a robbery, according to a press release.

When they arrived, they were told that a man and a teen entered the store together. They were seen on surveillance cameras shoplifting store merchandise.

As the suspects were leaving, a loss prevention officer confronted them and asked for their names and for the stolen items.

The man allegedly punched in the loss prevention officer in the face and knocked him down.

The man is described as Hispanic, 18 to 20 years old, 6'1" tall with a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a plain white T-shirt, black jeans, and a dark Vans ball cap with bluish, green letters.

The teen is described as Hispanic, 15 to 17 years old, 5'4" tall with a thin build.

She has dark hair and was last seen wearing an orange V-neck shirt.

Because she is believed to be a minor, her picture is not being shown.
