Tucson police look for suspect in armed robbery

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Tucson Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect involved in an armed robbery.

According to a TPD Facebook post, the suspect is described as a white man, 40 to 50 years old, 6' 1" tall, weighing 160 to 190 pounds. He may possibly use the bus system.

The robbery happened on Wednesday, Oct. 14, just before 1 p.m. at the Compass Bank at 4707 E. Grant Road. According to TPD he allegedly displayed a handgun and demanded money from the teller. He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was hurt during the robbery, according to police.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call 88-CRIME or 911.
