TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Pima County Sheriff's detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in two armed robberies on Tucson's northwest side.
According to a PCSD news release, a man entered Quick Marts at 6363 North La Cholla Boulevard and 3250 West Cortaro Farms Road at 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 16 and 1 a.m. the next day.
Detectives believe the same man is responsible for both incidents. The suspect pointed what appeared to be a black handgun at the clerks and demanded money and cigarettes.
The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and a black bandana over his face. He also wore yellow gloves. Detectives say the man is possibly a Caucasian, about 6' tall, with a thin build.
Anyone with information about these incidents is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
