TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Stressed-out students nationwide, take note. Relief is on the way.

The Obama administration recently announced new guidelines toward standardized tests. President Obama says too many schools are spending too much time on testing.

His plan recommends standardized exams do not take any more than two percent of instructional time. But still the new changes have not taken affect yet and midterms are in full swing.

To help combat this several school across Pima County are starting to incorporate yoga into the classroom.

Stefanie Keefe, a Tucson yoga teacher, shows kids of all ages the benefits of yoga. She says it teaches children how to slow down and breath when they get stressed while taking a test. Proper yoga technique also helps with posture while they sit in the chair for hours on end. Keefe says yoga is all about relaxing during stressful times and the kids seem to enjoy the process.
