Exercise prompts increased activity, noise at D-M Air Force Base

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Davis-Monthan Air Force Base will be conducting a routine operational readiness exercise from Tuesday, Nov. 3 through Thursday, Nov. 5.

Residents on or near the base should be aware that there will be increased activity on the base during this exercise, including alarms, sirens and loudspeaker announcements.

"These exercises are held to ensure D-M's Airmen maintain the highest levels of proficiency and readiness for worldwide military and humanitarian operations," according to a press release.
