73-year-old Tucson man killed in east-side home invasion

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A Tucson man died Friday, Nov. 13 after he and a woman were injured during a home invasion and assault at an east-side home on Nov. 12.

According to a news release from the Tucson Police Department, 73-year-old Biven Dryden and a 56-year-old woman were attacked sometime before 9:45 p.m. in the 5500 block of East 14th Street, near East Broadway Boulevard and South Craycroft Road.

Dryden was pronounced dead early Friday morning at Banner University Medical Center, where both victims were taken. The woman suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested 19-year-old Malick Fuller, and he was booked into Pima County Jail for first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault and attempted armed robbery.
