Authorities searching for bank robbery suspect

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Pima County deputies are searching for the suspect who robbed a bank and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash early Tuesday afternoon.

Officials with the Pima County Sheriff's Department said a man robbed the Bank of America on Skyline Drive and Campbell Avenue.

It is still unknown if he was armed.

The man is described as white, around 5'9" tall with a thin build, and is in his early 30s.

He was wearing a multi-colored beanie and a colored shirt with jeans.

Manzanita Elementary and Orange Grove Middle School were both on lockdown for around 40 minutes while police searched for the suspect.
