TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - As you're looking to get your holiday shopping done this weekend, a new study finds Arizona is one of the most vulnerable states when it comes to identity theft and fraud.
The study by Wallethub looked at all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
It ranked Arizona as No. 5 most vulnerable in the country.
Taking the top spot was Washington D.C. Two other western states -- Nevada and California -- also made the top 5.
Wallethub considered South Dakota as the least vulnerable state in the country.
Analysts used nine different metrics, ranging from the total number of identity theft complaints per 100,000 residents to total cybercrime-related dollar losses per capita.
