Rural/Metro crews investigate hazardous substance in foothills

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The hazardous substance Rural/Metro Fire Department crews investigated on Tuesday while they were performing a welfare check on a resident turned out to be an excessive amount of cleaning products.
Crews responded to a residence in the 6600 block of North Foothills Drive at 4:25 p.m., according to Captain Jay Karlik of Rural/Metro.
The resident was evaluated, but is OK. There was no immediate danger to the public.
