TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Interested in adding a new furry family member to your family in 2016?  The Pima Animal Care Center can help you out with that.

This afternoon, after PACCs annual New Year's Day dog walk, will be a special adoption event, happening from noon to 3 p.m. Adoptions of all pets are free (though there is a $16 licensing fee for all adult dogs).

The all-inclusive offer includes the pet's spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip and a free vet visit.

Not able to make it to PACC (at 4000 N. Silverbell Road) today? Not to worry PACC is extending a special adoption fee of $20.16 for all dogs, cats, puppies and kittens until the end of January.  This reduced fee will be honored not only at the main campus, but all four offsite PetSmart locations.

Those locations are listed here:

  • PetSmart at Oracle and Wetmore
  • PetSmart at Grant and Swan
  • PetSmart at El Con Mall (between Home Depot and Target)
  • PetSmart at Irvington and I-19
