Pima County Sheriff to host document shredding event

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department is holding a document shredding event on Tucson's northwest side on Saturday, Jan. 23. According to an announcement on Facebook, the free event at the Casas Church (10801 N. La Cholla Boulevard) begins at 8 a.m. and will end when the trucks are full.

Acceptable items for shredding include personal paper documents that are loose, folded, stapled or in envelopes.

Documents from businesses and personal videos, cassettes, CDs, DVDs, photographs, photo slides, and credit cards will NOT be accepted.
