Volunteers needed for trash pickup at Saguaro National Park

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Officials with Saguaro National Park are looking for 30 volunteers to help pick up trash and litter along Picture Rocks Road.

To sign up please email or call the park's volunteer ambassador, Corina Yeh, at corina_yeh@partner.nps.gov  or (520) 733-8603 by Feb. 12.
 
Tools, equipment and protective wear will be provided to the volunteers, though they are asked to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and to bring their own snacks, hats, water bottles and sunscreen. Additional water will be provided, according to a news release.

The event takes place on Monday, Feb. 15 from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers are to gather at the Cam-boh Picnic area, in the park's west district south of Picture Rocks Road.
