Deputies searching for bank robbery suspect

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Pima County deputies are searching for the suspect who robbed an Arizona State Credit Union on Thursday, March 11.

Deputies responded to the bank, located at 6456 North Oracle Road, around 10 a.m. in response to a silent panic alarm, according to a news release.

Witnesses told them a man entered the bank and handed one of the tellers a note demanding money.

The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and activated the panic alarm.

The man is described as Caucasian in his 50s.

He is about 5'10" tall and weighs about 180 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a Kansas State University hat, blue flannel shirt and jeans.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
