TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will host a rally at the Tucson Convention Center on Friday, March 18.
Sanders is expected to discuss a wide range of issues, including getting big money out of politics, tuition-free education, climate change and universal health care.
Sanders' visit comes days before the Arizona Presidential Preference election on Tuesday, March 22.
Friday's event will begin at 7:30 p.m. but doors at TCC, 260 S. Church Ave, will open at 4:30 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public, but RSVPs are strongly encouraged as admission is first come, first served.
For security reasons, no bags, weapons, sharp objects, chairs and signs or banners with sticks will be allowed.
Sanders held a rally in Tucson in October, drawing 11,000 to Reid Park.
