TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The suspicious package that prompted authorities to close East Congress Street between North Fifth and North Sixth avenues on Thursday, March 17, turned out to be a musical instrument.
Sgt. Kim Bay with the Tucson Police Department said Congress Street is back open.
During the investigation, buses were rerouted and the Ronstadt Transit Center was cleared.
A bomb squad also responded to the scene.
