Downed power lines, poles cause outage on Tucson's NE side

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Power has been restored to 2,251 customers after an early-morning outage on the northeast side, according to the Tucson Electric Power outage map.

The area was located between Speedway and Tanque Verde Road.

The power outage was reported around 6 a.m. on Monday, March 21, when 2,319 customers were without power. TEP officials reported downed poles and wires as the cause of the outage. Crews continue to work to restore power to the remaining 68 customers.
