Marana PD: Armed robbery suspect dressed as construction worker

MARANA, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Police in Marana are searching for a man suspected of armed robbery at a Walmart northwest of Tucson.

The suspect gave a note to an employee at the store, located at Ina and Thornydale roads, at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 26. Investigators say the man displayed a handgun that was in his waistband.

The employee handed over some money and the suspect left the store.

He's described as an African-American man in his mid-30s, anywhere from 6'1" to 6"3" tall. He was wearing a white construction hat with a blue bandanna underneath. He had blue jeans and black shoes, according to police.
