Tucson police investigating armed robbery at midtown eegee's

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Tucson police are investigating an armed robbery at a restaurant in midtown Tucson.

According to Sgt. Pete Dugan of the Tucson Police Department, a woman walked into the eegee's on East Grant Road and North Alvernon Way and demanded money.

Employees told police she had a knife.

They handed her an undisclosed amount of cash and she left.

No one was injured in the incident, and police have not yet released a description.
