Pima Co. Sheriff's deputy hit by car near fairgrounds

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - A Pima County Sheriff's deputy was taken to Banner-University Medical Center for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car on Tuesday night, April 19.

According to the Sheriff's department, the deputy was taking down traffic cones when he was hit by the car.

The driver of the car is with PCSD deputies as they continue their investigation.

No one else was hit by the car, all other deputies are OK.
