The 32-year-old Hayden is facing one count each of armed robbery, robbery, prohibited firearm possession and aggravated assault.

Warren said Hayden was armed when he robbed the Walmart Neighborhood Market on West Ina Road on March 26.

Hayden was also wanted in connection with an robbery that happened at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Road, on April 8. Warren said a 67-year- old woman was assaulted and injured during a purse snatching.

Warren said the MPD and Tucson Police Department started working together on the case when they realized the grocery store suspect was the same man wanted for the purse theft.

On April 28, authorities identified Hayden in yet another crime.

He's facing second-degree burglary charges for a burglary that occurred at the Stadium Grill, located at 3682 W. Orange Grove.

Police said during that incident, Hayden was able to get into the building by breaking a glass door with a large rock.

"Through the collaborative efforts, were able to identify a suspect," the MPD said in a news release. "This was an excellent example of agencies working together to get a violent criminal off the streets and keeping our communities safe."
