Oro Valley police to reveal results of bike enforcement

ORO VALLEY, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Oro Valley police conducted a three-week enforcement and education program for bicycle safety last month, and today we are learning the results of the effort.

The officers focused on three intersections: North La Cañada Drive and West Moore Road, La Cañada and West Tangerine Road, and North First Avenue/North Rancho Vistoso Boulevard and East Tangerine Road.

The focus of the deployment, according to OVPD, was on bicycle and vehicle violations.

Tucson News Now's Kevin Adger will talk to police to find out what they learned from this deployment, including how many bikes and cars were stopped and why.
