TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The official start of summer is just a month away, and in case you're looking to fill up your Friday night plans, Reid Park Zoo has got you covered.
Reid Park Zoo's Summer Safari Friday Nights, presented by Tucson Medical Center, return Friday, May 20 through July 8. As the temps get low during the evenings, you can enjoy live music, family-friendly animal features, food specials, and even gift shop discounts.
Theme Nights are as follows:
- July 8: Staying Cool at the Zoo: Learn how the animals stay cool at the Zoo
The bands and animal themes will change each week. During evening events, animals are given access to their night-houses. For their comfort, animals may choose to be off exhibit.
Cost: $9 for Adults; $7 Seniors; $5 Children; Under 2 years of age, free; Members $2 off.
