Hottest Day in 22 Years

It was the hottest day in 22 years in Tucson Sunday, and records were shattered across Arizona.
The thermometer at Tucson Int'l Airport hit 115° just before 3:30 p.m.; making it the third hottest day ever recorded for Tucson (since 1896). The 115° temperature also broke the previous record of 112° (1989).
The last time it was 115° in Tucson was June 28, 1994.
