Pima Co. Sheriff installs medication drop box at San Xavier office

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department has announced that a drop-off box for unused medications has been installed on Tucson's south side.
The box is at the San Xavier District Office, 2545 East Ajo Way, across the street from the Kino Veteran's Memorial Stadium. It is accessible during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
People are encouraged to use the box to safely dispose of unused prescription and over-the-counter medications, which can cause environmental and health hazards if disposed of improperly.
