TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Tucson police arrested five men in connection with an alleged home-invasion plot, authorities said.

The Tucson Police Department said the arrests were made Wednesday night, July 6, at a hotel and multiple weapons and home invasion tools were recovered.

The TPD said the men - Santos Jesus Rodriguez, 25, Luis Angel Coronado, 32, Gabriel Abran Lopez, 26, James Joe Johnson, 28, and Lonnie James Rodriguez, 25 - were arrested before committing a planned home invasion.

All five are facing charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary and narcotics-related offenses.
