Pima Co. Sheriff's Dept: Suspicious person alert on the southwest side

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department is alerting parents to a suspicious man in the 2600 block of West Capistrano Road.
Deputies with the San Xavier District responded to a call around 6:42 p.m. on Monday about a man who drove up to two 10-year-old boys near Valencia and Cardinal, and tried to lure them into his vehicle. According to PCSD he attempted to get them in his car with the promise of $5 each, both boys refused and the man drove away.
The man is described as white, in his 40s or 50s, with blond hair, last seen wearing a U of A baseball hat. According to a PCSD release he may have been driving a newer model gray Volkswagen Beetle.
Anyone with information is to call 9-1-1 or 88-CRIME.
